Sitemap automatic generation

    Hi all,
    first of all I want to thank you for your great plugin, it’s something that I was really looking for!

    I’ve installed it and already manually generated a sitemap, so I could check the final result and I’m satisfied with it; now, the problems arise with the automatic generation of the sitemap because I see this warning message:

    This hosting does not support сURL, so you cannot add a sitemap file automatically.

    I’m checking now with my provider if we can activate cURL but this is simply a command for retrieving the sitemap.xml calling a plugin’s PHP script, right? Could you please give me the URL to call?

    I guess that cURL has to be called by some agent, maybe a cron job: if my provider doesn’t provide a support for internal job scheduling, how would you suggest to create a scheduling mechanism?

    And after the automatic sitemap creation, will Google take care of retrieving it or is better to force an upload of the newly created sitemap via some other PHP script called by the same cron job?

    12-18-2013 update: the provider told me that no cronjob scheduler is available. The only thing I could activate was the cURL library from the website cPanel; this configuration helped me to go further with the plugin usage.

    In my understanding, now I can overwrite my website sitemap.xml and I can transmit it to Google Webmaster tool for updating its sitemap definition; a question still remains: how may I schedule an automatic sitemap.xml regeneration and transmission to Google?

    Sitemap is generated once and will be re-generated when you create or update any post or page.

    Great! Thank you for your support, then we dont’t need any other tool for updating our website sitemap.
