Sitemap

  • Hello,

    Been using WP for a few months now & had some time to set up a Sitemap in GWT so, I used https://www.mydomain.com/feed (I use custom permalinks). Is this a proper Sitemap? I came from a different blog platform so my last Sitemap was a bit different. Any help would be appreciated.

    PS- I am a little confused as there are plugins for this and xml generators so perhaps I need to do more than I realize.

    pps- I have managed to answer most of my own questions & corrected my initial Sitemap. Used an online generator, uploaded to server & added to GWT. Coming from Blogger, I was unable to do this as I did not have access to the server so all I could do was to add a feed.xml as a Sitemap.

    Anyway, still can’t see why I would need a plugin to do this….unless I am still missing something:)
