All my Yoast sitemaps are completely blank. Please can someone advise what I can do to get them showing again. Thanks

This is weird. I have an existing site that’s working with the update. And a NEW site that is set up identical settings….different IP and I am also getting the 404 Error NO Site Map found. I have disabled the Plug-in, cleared cache , re-enabled the plug-in and still NO Friggin Site Map.

OK….GOT-IT to work…. Here is what I DID.

    Select XML Sitemaps from Admin.

Uncheck the BOX – (Check this box to enable XML sitemap functionality)

    Then Save, Reload the page.

    Then – CHECK the BOX …and Save Again…VIOLA SITE-MAP created !!

Hopefully, this Latest BUG gets SQUISHED ehh YOAST !!

Looks like I spoke too soon. There appears to be a Plug-in Conflict causing this….attempting to narrow it down now.

This issue for me has been found. It’s a conflict with another plug-in

This does not mean it’s necessarily the other Devs issues, as much as it may be YAOST…by the other comments here I would think other plugins are also at issue.

In my case it’s Project Panorama Version 1.2.1.3 | By 37 MEDIA

I have notified the Dev and hopefully he and YOAST can iron this out?

It’s a PITA to check this but….if you want to verify your specific plug-in and report it…it will help YOAST get it resolved sooner.

As with most suspected plugin conflict issues. De-Activate ALL your plug-ins and then Activate one at a time.

After each activation: Refresh your screen and from the Yoast SEO admin, Uncheck the XML Sitemap box….Save…..Recheck….Save and then click on the XML Site map Link to see if you get a 404 Error or a Sitemap.

I am betting after you deactivate and do this you will get your site map back. The Easter Egging is finding out which one is in conflict…..

Have been talking to other Devs and MANY are seeing this same issue.

It seems the site map function is very sensitive to any sort of permalink or mod_rewrite changes.

Andrew: I DID report this as a BUG, and I did look to see if there was NEWER version…..The only update has to do with renaming for Premium version.

I thought I had the same problem, but it just took a while for the sitemap to appear. My mistake

Well I got an interesting reply to my posted comment here:

    https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/1176

Then today an update comes out….Hmmmm interesting…problem resolved ?
