Sitemap 404

    Hi there

    Report submitted: EXOYBZYG

    Thanks to Litespeed I’ve vastly improved my Lighthouse score. However both Google Search Console and Metritools report 404 errors when trying find sitemap.xml (although they have found the other sitemaps such as -news and -posts).

    I have entered the term:

    sitemap

    In Cache Settings: Do Not Cache URIs

    but the error persists – are there any other settings I should change? (I don’t believe it is related, but Litespeed Crawler is disabled by my hosting provider)

    I don’t think it’s realted to LSCWP

    could you please try turn off LSCWP and see what status code it gives ?

    Confirmed that it is not Litespeed thanks! (Not your problem, but any idea of what could be causing this?)

    Scratch that, turned out it was the Disable Author Archive plugin.
