sitemap

  • I have created a sitemap folder but when I try to build the sitemap I receive the following message:

    There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable.

    Can anyone please help a newbie! what do I need to do to correct the problem?

  • I don’t know for certain, but you could try:

    Right click on the sitemap folder on your server, look for an option to set or change the permissions and make sure the “write” permission is enabled. That -might- work.
