    Hey,

I’ve noticed that my sitelinks are now incorrect after installing yoast:

    Sitelinks

Is there any way I can change this so that product categories show up as sitelinks, instead of the various archives?

    Kind regards,
    Jack

  • sitelinks are controlled by google, you cannot change them. google decide what to show from your site. do not worry about it.

    Hi Jack,

As @mohammedays has said, sitelinks are not based on our plugin’s settings. The Yoast plugin automatically adds all the necessary Schema needed to generate Sitelinks.

You could signal to Google which links you want to appear by using the following actions:
    – Provide a clear structure for your website, using relevant internal links and anchor text that’s informative, compact and avoids repetition. These guides explain more:?

    – Allow Google to crawl and index important pages within your site. Use Inspect any URL?to check that they can be rendered properly.
    – Consider using?noindex?to remove pages you do not want to be found in a search. This guide explains more.
    – Be sure to resubmit your sitemap to Google as it will encourage Google to reindex your site and update its index. This guide explains more.
    – You may also wish to contact Google for more information on how they decide which links appear. You can contact Google by making a post on their forums —?https://productforums.google.com/forum/?rd=1#!forum/webmasters.

We hope to have cleared things up for you.
