    Hello!
SiteKit slows down the site when enabled with AdSense.
It turns out that the biggest slowdown in loading the site begins after AdSense was connected to SiteKit.
I filmed a video for you from the monitor screen, you can see how the site loads when you gradually enable SiteKit and then enable AdSense.
And in the end, I showed on the video how the site loads if you disable AdSense, and then the SiteKit plugin itself.

Does the SiteKit plugin have a conflict when connecting AdSense? Is it possible to fix this so it doesn’t affect the loading of the site since I showed it on the screen recording?

I uploaded the video to Google drive

Thanks for reaching out @vprest, and for sharing your recording. If you enable AdSense on your website, whether you use Site Kit or not, this does result in additional network requests made to AdSense and ad network servers. It’s normal that there will a tradeoff with performance with additional network requests, with various factors involved in your site communicating with other servers (in order to fetch and place ads).

Site Kit inserts an AdSense snippet on a users site in the same method as a manual placement. What you’re experiencing with AdSense when activated via Site Kit would be similar to what you would experience if you manually insert AdSense code on your site.

What may work for you to improve performance is to change your Auto ads setting from your AdSense Auto ads settings. You could choose less ads to be placed, restrict ad networks or limit ads from areas of your site. Such changes may result in small improvements with performance, but there will be still network requests made.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. For queries specific to AdSense performance you can also reach out to the product experts over at the AdSense Help Center.
