    Hello,

My SiteKit on my dashboard is showing the below, despite my GA4 property being set up correctly. I’ve tried deleting the plugin and starting from scratch to no avail.

Search Console stats still show though..

Hello @hop3y thanks for reaching out. i appreciate the information shared including the screenshot. To help you look into this further could you please share the following:

    1. Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.
    2. If you go to Site Kit > Settings > Connected Services > Analytics and switch the Dashboard view to display UA data and back once more to GA4, do you still see this permissions error on the dashboard?
    3. Do you have any issues accessing the Analytics account/property connected from the Analytics platform?

Please let me know if you have any other questions for me in the meantime.

    Hi,

I’ve responded to the form. Point 2 – tried to no avail.

Point 3 – analytics working fine separately.

@hop3y Thanks for sharing. Could I please ask you to try the following two checks:

    1. Go through the steps in our troubleshooting guide here to see if you still see the same while in troubleshooting mode.
    2. Try accessing using an incognito browsing window to see if you see the same permissions error.

Do you have any other websites that you can test connecting the same property on to see if you encounter the same? You can also try testing on a temporary WordPress site such as this one.

    It’s now working, oddly.

@hop3y Glad to hear this! Please do let us know if anything changes again but happy to hear this is now working for you.

I have a similar issue and points 2 & 3 above don’t resolve. Turning off plugins and opening wp-admin in incognito mode don’t resolve anything. I can’t disconnected GA and I can’t reset Site Kit (I click ‘Reset’ and, the dashboard reloads, and all the same broken connections are still there). I’ve tried removing Site Kit completely (uninstall), but reinstalling the plugin shows the same settings. Is there any way to nuke the settings on uninstall?
