I installed Sitekit successfully on my new blog. Connected Search Console and Analytics successfully, both work fine.
However, Adsense is not connecting. When trying to connect I get an “Error: Ad Client not found” that flashes on the screen and then it continues to try to install (never makes any progress). Have signed up for Adsense and it’s waiting to “see” the code on the site but can’t get Sitekit to get that far.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you’re encountering the same as reporting in this GitHub issue.

From within your AdSense account please share the current status of your Site Kit connected site.

Note that the plugin has inserted the AdSense ad code on your site already, I suspect it’s just a matter of waiting for site approval from the AdSense department.

@jamesosborne from my Adsense account, there is nothing to access and no option for an overview. Just shows one page in the display area, which is the code that needs to be copied to my site.

Thanks for sharing. I suspect your site remains in the pending stage, being reviewed by AdSense. Did you receive a notification from AdSense that your site is being reviewed, or approved?

Note that the Site Kit placed code snippet does exist on your site, so once your site is fully approved ads should appear.

@padosky We’ve released a fix for this issue in today’s 1.28.0 release, which you can read more about here. If your AdSense account is in review, you should now see a message indicating that your account is getting ready in Site Kit > AdSense, as opposed to the loading bar. If your AdSense account has been approved, you should see AdSense information in Site Kit > AdSense. Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues. If you have any other questions, please feel free to create a new topic. Thank you for using Site Kit!
