I’ve taken over a website recently which has sitekit installed, I’m wondering if the manual tag scripts are still required in the header files?

There’s currently a tag for form conversions and one for telephone call conversions.

The reason I ask is that within Analytics – the form conversions seem to be reporting ‘page view’ data instead, I’m trying to find the cause of this issue.

Example: yesterday there were NO form submissions, but analytics reports 20 and 20 page views
This event reporting always mirrors the page view data.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi there @jasonipsum, thanks for getting in touch. Checking your website I can see that you have Site Kit placing your Analytics, Ads and Tag Manager code on your site. That all looks good to me and I can see the tags are being fired on your site when checking from https://tagassistant.google.com/.

It also sounds like you have conversation tracking setup via Tag Manager also. You still need to have a standard Analytics code snippet placed, whether it’s via Tag Manager or Site Kit it.

So as far as I can see, there are no issues with the code placed on your site by Site Kit. Is there anything else I can help you with or do you have any further questions?

    Thank you Adam,

Sounds like everything is set up correctly – I must have an issue with the ‘event tag’ collecting data (form conversions are displayed as page views) – but this is probably something you cannot help with I’d presume.

    Thank you anyway

@jasonipsum You may be able to get further assistance with your Analytics and conversions from the Analytics Help Center. If there’s anything on the Site Kit side of things I can help with then please let me know and I will be happy to help.
