    Hello,

I am trying to run Siteground migration plugin. I am entering my token which I got from Siteground. But I am receiving the below error on the wordpress plugin. In the help article, it is saying reset your permission on siteground. I did that but i am still getting below error when I try to migrate.

    Could you please help ?

Transfer cannot be initiated due to permissions error.
For the purposes of this transfer we need to create temporary files on your current hosting account. Please fix your files permissions at your current host and make sure your wp-content folder is writable. Files should be set to 644 and folders to 755.

    Hey there @orhancelil,

Make sure that the permission of the specified folders is 755 and files are set to 644.

You can do that check using an FTP client or a file manager from your current host control panel.

Make sure the file permissions are correct and restart the migration.

It should work without any issues when you reconfigure the file/folder permissions.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

Hi Stanimir! I have the same issue, and I’ve set the correct permissions but the plugin still doesn’t work. Do we need to set the permissions only for the wp-content folder?
