    End of July I’ve changed hosting provider. For this I used the Duplicater plugin to transfer the webpage to the new hosting provider.
    Since this transfer I receive twice per day an error message.
    In the log the folowing details are mentioned:

    id => 153688 module => site-scanner type => warning code => scan-failure-client-error timestamp => 2024-08-17 08:11:01 init_timestamp => 2024-08-17 08:10:58 remote_ip => *.*.*.* user_id =>[empty string] url => wp-cron memory_current => 60913912 memory_peak => 61256568 data =>Array results =>Object WP_Error errors =>Array site_verification_failed.connection_error =>Array 0 => Unable to determine if the scan target is allowed: Target site returned invalid response. A 500 status code was returned. error_data =>Array site_verification_failed.connection_error =>Array status =>[integer] 500 url => https://www.billekens.org cached =>[boolean] false

    The IP address mentioned in the mail is not my own ip address but the one from my provider. (I’ve replaced the remote ip above by *.*.*.*)

    I do appreciate your assistance.

    Hi @janbwordpress, glad you reached out!

    That error tells us that your server timed out during the scan, which might’ve been temporary, but if it keeps repeating, I’d suggest looking into your server error logs for more clues as to what’s causing the 500 error code. If you find any, kindly pass them on here.

    Also, make sure that the Solid Security Site Scanner’s IP address: 207.246.255.60 isn’t being blocked by a plugin, a setting, or directly on the server. Please double-check this with your host.

    Let us know what you can find.

    Good morning @Chandelierr,

    Thank you for your feedback. Checking if the IP address ?207.246.255.60?did the thing. I had blocked the range 207.246.*.*?. This morning I had no error message anymore.
    Thank you again

    @janbwordpress very glad to hear whitelisting the site scanner’s IP resolved the error!

    If you enjoy Solid Security and appreciate our free support, we’d love to get a kind review from you here.

    Thank you!
