Site / WPAdmin down after "empty cache"?

  • Hi All,

    Godaddy shared hosting plan is what I’m using.

    When I hit “empty all cache” in my dashboard – I get a server cant connect error in my browser and then usually the site is unresponsive for a minute or two.

    Is this customary?

    Anytime I make a significant change on my site (new logo, new images, new text) should I hit the “empty all cache” button and then will W3 rebuild it all again automatically?
