site won’t show up in google/noindex issue

    Hi all. Using yoast seo plug in. Connected with Google Search Console and submitted a sitemap. my new site (a week old) hasn’t shown up at all when i search on Google. Checked the coverage on search console and it says no errors but it also says one page is excluded which is my whole site (it’s one page) and there are no valid pages…can somebody help me out? Thanks!

    Hi @kabbalisticvillage

    When we do a SITE: search for your website here, we do see it output in the search results, so it is indexed and showing up. You’ve mentioned that it’s a one-page website and a relatively new site that is one week old, so it might not show up for the intended search term or keyphrase that you’re using to search it for. If you use the SITE: operator to search, it should show up. You’ll probably need to add more content or wait for a certain time so that it shows up as a result for a certain keyphrase or search term.

    @mikes41720 so when I click that link that you showed that you searched and it showed – i see nothing. So i don’t know why that’s happening. I guess I will wait.
    But why does Search Console show one page excluded? Thank you!

    You’ll have to check and investigate further in Google Search Console as to why they’ve decided to exclude any pages. This documentation from the Index Coverage Report might help provide more insight – https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7440203/
