    Hi,

I just reinstalled Word Press on my Go Daddy hosting account after something I did in the coding for the new multisite function caused my site to virtually disappear. I couldn’t access /wp-admin, /index.php or the site root. So, following Go Daddy’s advice, I backed up my database and then uninstalled and reinstalled Word Press. After it was set up, I imported the old database in and again saw nothing. Again calling Go Daddy, I changed the settings of my wp-config back to the wp-configsample and then edited the lines with the db access information. Like before, I could access the wp-admin, but the site did not show up.

Again, listening to Go Daddy, I renamed my plugins folder to see if that might be the problem and it was! At this point, the site has all the content, comments, etc and I can access everything but now don’t have any plugins. I think it must have something to with WP-config or .htaccess, but I’ve tried almost everything and no go.

Any help now would be a God Send.

    Thanks in Advance!!

    Thanks Rich,

Yeah, it was the active plugins that were doing it. I finally ended up just deleting all the plugins and reinstalling and then it worked fine!
