This is quite possibly caused by not having enough memory allocated to your site.

Quoted from another post:

1. If you have access to your PHP.ini file, change the line in PHP.ini
If your line shows 32M try 64M:
memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (64MB)

2. If you don’t have access to PHP.ini try adding this to an .htaccess file:
php_value memory_limit 64M

3. Try adding this line to your wp-config.php file:
Increasing memory allocated to PHP
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);

4. Talk to your host.

This doesn’t help. We cannot even log into the site and do not have access to PHP.ini file, we do not know what a .htaccess file is. WordPress is the host, aren’t they?

Also, where is the live chat that WordPress boasts on their site? We have a site that is required to be active by contract that has been down for days.

We need to speak to someone by phone or live chat to walk us through this issue. We use WordPress because we are not developers or tech folk. Please help.

Can you see who the hosts those sites from your end? The WordPress accounts were created by one of our literacy specialists directly through WordPress, so we are confused as to who would be hosting.

That is for wordpress.com sites. This is wordpress.org. We only support self-hosted WP sites here – not wordpress.com sites.

Unfortunately, we cannot easily determine who is hosting your site. a checking tool suggests that it is Amazon.com but this may not be correct.

palswisconsin.info appears to be hosted at Amazon Web Services, or by someone who buys server space from them. Would that be palsmarketplace.com ? DNS shows them as the domain owner.

Yes, songdogtech. How did you find that information? I have notified some of our internal team members who are going to resolve the issues. For my own team, it would be helpful to help them find this kind of info.

Use https://www.whois.com/whois/ That gives domain registration info, namerservers, etc.
