Site without plugins still slow.

  • I have a challenge.
    I have my site on siteground. And wprocket as cache plugin.
    On January 16, the measurements were very high, mobile at 96 and desktop 98. But after updating elementor, the site unexpectedly drops to a speed of 50 points on mobile. All this in pagespeed insights. I go back to the backup from the day before, the site returns to speed, but when I make any modifications, the speed drops again. So, I resort to deactivating all plugins. And change the subject. Then I clear the server caches… and the speed on mobile was still at 50 and even worse at 30 or 40 points. But in Gmetrix, my desktop points are at 99. And my desktop pagespeed is 56 points. I don’t understand anything else and I don’t know what to do either.

  • If the site is slow even without plugins (did you really disable WP Rocket?) I would recommend to contact the hoster.
