    Hello!

    My site is https://www.goldenvalleymn.gov

We created a blog through wordpress to be fed into our homepage of our website (news column on the right side).

When we create a new post, it pops up on the homepage in that newsfeed section, and looks perfect in Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.

However, when this same homepage is opened up in Internet Explorer, the only thing showing up is the Newsfeed box with the post we just posted, and everything else on the site is missing.

Please help! Any ideas on how to fix this?
    Thanks!

  • It looks like there is a bunch of extra code from MS Word in the first “News” post. What seems to be happening is that Internet Explorer is seeing that code, thinking that it’s the beginning of an HTML comment, and then ignoring everything else after it, thinking that that’s still part of that HTML comment.

You should go through and edit each of the News posts (preferably using the “Text” editor rather than the “Visual” editor) and make sure that all of the extra MS Word comments are removed.

Yes you were correct, that was the issue! We were thinking it had something to do with our site as a whole, not just that single post, so it was a super easy fix. Thanks so much for your help, it is much appreciated!!
