I have had big issues with my site. It will not update to the latest version when I make edits. I have tried disabling caches within wordpress with W3 total cache and also my bluehost cache but this didn’t help. I then tried disabling all the plugins but the same older version of my site still showed up when I looked up my site in a different browser. I have been playing around with the site structure and the new edits sometimes show up before disappearing and then sometimes coming back again. I also updated the PHP to 7.3 but still no luck.

After running a health check on my site it has said that my side could not complete a loopback request and saying the error was: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10005 milliseconds with 0 bytes received. I enforce the certificate validation in my theme’s functions.php file and the error went away. However, my site has not changed and still will not update. With heath check there are no critical issues showing up even though my site is still not working properly. At this point I am not sure what my next step should be. Any help would be appreciated as I have spent many hours dealing with this problem.

Ask your host why loopback is failing.

Also ask if they can update Curl — in case you are running outdated version.

After enforcing the certificate validation in my themes functions.php file the incomplete loop back error went away. I now am running a health check and see no such error – Or any errors in that fact. Should I still ask if they can update Curl or why loopback is failing?

Wouldn’t hurt to ask them if your solution is the right one.

Called and they fixed it some how. No idea what they did but thank you for the advice!
