    Hello!
I am completely new to blogging, and I am just learning about it all. I have now tried to add metatags with this wonderfull plug in.. however I don’t seem to understand how the “site wide meta tags work”. I just added in the same keywords i used for global keywords

“third culture kid, tck, travel, asia, starting over, female, female solo traveller, solo, cambodia, indonesia, vietnam, bangkok, thailand, anxiety, discovery, struggle, authentic, authenticity, food, style, not belonging, life, people, places, tips, to do, insight, flash packer, flash packer, flashpacker girl, flash packer blog”.

once i save and I refresh the blog, all these keywords show up on the top row of my first page of the blog, and it’s something I definitely don’t want!

I am not sure how to add correctly the site wide meta tags, for them to a. work correctly so i can be found in google, and b. so no text shows up on my actual blog page.

I am sure it’s extremely silly and I am not understanding some basics.. please help!

    thank you!
    Stephanie

    Hi Stephanie,

The ‘site-wide meta tags’ field is for complete meta tags. It is not suitable for keywords.

Please, while in the plugin settings page at Settings->Metadata, press the Help button on the top right corner and check the ‘General Settings’ section for examples of full meta tags.

I’m now marking the topic as resolved.

If you need more help, please feel free to ask.

    Kind Regards,
    George

Also, I’m sorry for the late reply, but my free time has been very limited lately.
