    Hello there,
After changing the words ‘This post is password protected. To view it please enter your password below’ in post-template.php (as a suggestion from a forum post) my site went completely blanc. After changing it back it still was blanc and I could not do anything with it, not even get the wp-login. Thanks for your support.

You must have added or deleted the symbolic characters — (‘,” quotation marks) (; – semicolon ) mistakenly.

You may get access to that file through FTP, and check for that line.
Another way to get access is Control Panel’s in built file manager.

Was this file in your theme or part of WordPress core?

I changed the words in post-template (part of wp-includes) from the back up on my computer in notepad++ and then uploaded it with Filezilla. The site went blank so I changed it back in it’s original. It still kept white. I even uploaded a copy from another website but nothing happened but a white screen. I cannot enter anything now.

Thanks guys for your help. I have found the issue. The back up on my computer was a version back. I have used the post template of wp 3.5 and now my site is back. I am so relieved. Thanks again. I was not thinking.

    Ok. Great.
