    * My website at https://www.werribeeparkheritageorchard.org.au/ was looking perfect.
    * on the 5th August I made a minor change to the website. I merely uninstalled a plugin.
    * The whole website’s layout suddenly went out of alignment. It lost its left-hand sidebar.
It’s a weird layout problem. Everything else on the site is still okay.
    * I used Installatron’s RESTORE to regress to an earlier working version.
    * It failed to restore, telling me that one of the linked files was the wrong size (???)
    * Yesterday morning I restored everything using my web hosts’s CLICK RESTORE facility. All my recent work was lost but the good layout came back.
    * I then did hours of intensive work on the website, backing it up with Installatron regularly as I went.
    * Yesterday afternoon I simply updated a minor link on one page. The whole website’s layout suddenly went out of alignment just like it did the night before.
    * So I then regressed the edited page to an earlier state, but that did not help.
    * I then tried RESTORE from Installatron but it made no difference. The ‘restore’ was successful but the layout was still cactus. Despite the fact that the last time I backed up the website it was perfect in every way!!! SO the problem must be coming from somewhere else mustn’t it?
    * Can someone tell me why the design of my pages suddenly went haywire, and how to fix it?
*If I use CLICK RESTORE again I will lose everything I spent hours on yesterday. Which was a repeat of everything I did all the previous day and lost in the crash.
I am going out of my mind here… I did everything right….
    Please help!!!

It’s okay now. It was w3Total cache’s fault.

Good to hear it’s fixed, sometimes w3 Total Cache can be funny.

If you’ve decided to uninstall it and it’s still playing up (you’re old style is still showing) it will be because W3 Total Cache leaves cached template files behind that hold the existing layout

Thanks for taking a look and replying, giollianosulit. My site should be back to showing perfectly now. (I am now searching for a plugin to speed it up without weird problems.)
