    Hey there,

One of my sites that has NinjaFirewall activated was attacked today – which brought down the server for a couple minutes.

I was under the impression that NF would help prevent that from happening. I’m curious if you have any insight as to why that might have happened? Here is a sample screenshot from the log:

    Thanks!

Actually, does the timing of the logs match up with whatever the timezone is set to in WordPress? If so, they don’t correlate with the time the site was down, so probably aren’t the reason the site crashed.

NinjaFirewall will show the log timestamps using the WordPress timezone (WordPress > General Settings > Timezone).
What I see is an average of one HTTP request every 2 seconds. This shouldn’t take your site down.
