Site Visible & Photo galleries

  • Hello all,

    I am trying to help out a friend of mine with his site. We have the site created and most of the content on the site. However, when we launch the site & take it out of maintenance mode, we can not access the site on a mobile phone. I figured that the Jet Pack plugin would be the tool to make the site go mobile, but I could be wrong since I am a novice at websites period.

    In addition, the the photo gallery on the home page is embedded (I think). All you can see is text saying “gallery,” and a the little thing that pops up to view the photo as a larger version. I downloaded GAMMA gallery and launched the plug in/activated it. When I go to the gallery page I can only view 2 of the images, the other images just lead me to the wheel of death and do not load, this is the same when you click the gallery link on the home page.

    Can anyone help me with troubleshooting?

    Can you talk to the people who sold you that theme?

    Have you asked the theme developers for help? These forums don’t support commercial themes.

    I got the gallery problem solved and fixed up a bunch of stuff.

    Now my new problem is getting the jet pack installed. The site was originally created by a free lance designer. I emailed him and have gotten no response yet, but I need to get the admin pw associated with the original word press account. I am the officially admin now, but the other user is still associated with the site and with out their PW I cannot install the jet pack.

    Is there a way to completely remove that admin from the site?

    You can likely just create a new WordPress.COM account in order to connect JetPack to it under your name. But any questions about WordPress.COM accounts would need to be asked on their forums –
