I’ve recently migrated my wordpress.com site to www.remarpro.com using a new host and had little / poor support from. Since then my google visibility has dropped off completely.

My query is on the WordPress CMS under General Settings there are two entries for WordPress address and Site Address. There’s an extra bit of text thats been added to the URL which I don’t think should be happening. By removing that part will I then hopefully find my website is visible? My website should be just https://coxhypnotherapy.com

My general settings however shows as follows:

    WordPress Address (URL) https://coxhypnotherapy.com/~coxhypno
    Site Address (URL) https://coxhypnotherapy.com/~coxhypno

@hypnocox, I would recommend you change your SQL details as soon as possible.

Once you have changed all of your passwords, you need to go back to your hosts with a copy of that email and ask them to sort this out. It’s a hosting issue – not a WordPress one.

Thank you both. I got onto that straight away.

I will get onto my ‘helpful’ hosts next and attempt to get that hosting issue sorted.
