• Why would we be getting this? I checked the forums and did not see this specific prompt listed. I’ve deactivated the WP maintenance mode, I’ve turned the under construction plug in off, I’ve updated all the plugins and themes, then removed the ones we aren’t using. It’s not a browser cache problem because it’s showing up on other browsers. Could this be a problem with hosting/renewal? The client is a candidate and I’ve reached out, haven’t heard back yet, so I thought I’d post this here in the meantime. As always, THANKS!

Probably have an html file in the root? Remove it and make sure that the WP index.php file is in there. HTML files will overwrite that.

    I can see your admin.

I have to admit that I don’t know how to do what you’ve said here, so I went a googling, and I figured out that I have to have some sort of control panel plugin, so I added WP File manager…am I warm? Then what?

Sorry, you don’t need a plugin. You do need an app that you can log into your server called ftp. Or you can use your server file manager which your host can probably help. Depending on who your host is they can straightened it out too.
