Site to load very very slowly and without formatting

  • Hello,
    I must first confess that I am a total WP / web page noob so any answer you give please make sure it is over simplified.

    I am hosting my WP site on a in house W2k3 server running IIS6.0 The site was working fine about 2 weeks ago. My server installed some Windows updates and now the site takes forever to load and it loads without any sort of formatting. Also the wp-admin page has become unavailable. I cant even get the site to load correctly using 127.0.0.1 nor can I pull up https://localhost/phpinfo.php test page.
