site title or blog title?

  • In general settings it has ‘site title’ however I am following a programme that is showing ‘blog title’ yet I can’t find ‘blog title’ anywhere. Has site title overtaken blog title? Is it the same thing or am I in the wrong place. Some advice would be welcome, thanks.

  • I believe so.
    Wordpress started out as a blog CMS, but designers and developers decided that it had great potential for other websites as well (and it still does!)…so my guess is that they switched it from blog to “site” to fit this image.

    On that note…tell your friend that he needs to update his wordpress.
