Site title concatenated to

    Hello!
    The site title is being concatenated to every title in page/post single view and in category view. Just on the homepage not.
    i. e. I set ‘Search Appearance / Content Types / Posts / SEO Title’ to ‘Site title’ ‘Separator’ ‘Title’. The result is: <title>[site title] – [page/post title] – [site title]</title>.
    Why is ‘ – [site title]’ being concatenated?
    And how can I configure Yoast SEO to prevent ‘ – [site title]’ being concatenated?

    Just to clarify, do you mean you want to make sure that the - [site title] part doesn’t appear for your titles in your posts and pages?

    If you’ve already configured the defaults in the Search Appearance section for your SEO title templates for your posts and pages, you may want to try and edit a specific post or page and locate the Yoast SEO meta box and look at what the SEO title output is, and see if you’ve entered a specific title, as that would take priority over the default being set in the Search Appearance section.

    There is no specific SEO output configured with posts or pages – just the defaults.
    Where does Yoast take the additional title part from?

    The additional title could be from your theme if the title just doesn’t match what you’ve entered into the settings. There are also times when you set up a template for your titles, only to see them altered in search results. You may notice things like double titles or your branding showing up twice.
