Site Title appearing on front page

  • I’m going a little crazy here trying to understand why suddenly the “Site Title” is appearing on the home page of my site:
    https://www.adoptiveparents.ca/wp/

    Can anyone advise me what I have done? I don’t know what caused this but no matter what I do, it appears there. Anyone?

  • Hi,

    The text appears just on the home page and nowhere else, do you have a custom home page? In your theme folder do you have a file called home.php? I suspect this could be due to a text wrongly pasted in a file.

    If you have a text editor like notepad++, find for text “Adoptiveparents.ca” in the entire theme folder. I think you should find the issue.

    @abcsmom76, Can you also check header.php located under your theme adoptpar ?
