Site title and tagline showing twice in browser tabs

    Hi
    I’m having the issue of the website title and tagline being displayed twice in the browser tab.

    I am using the latest version of the pure and simple theme on WP 4.3.1.

    I have searched the forum and it seems most people have this problem caused by the Yoast SEO plug in, I do not have the Yoast plug in installed. Does anybody know how I can fix this?

    Hi

    I’m running two websites and I have the same problem in both, I’m using a child theme for both

    the websites are

    maml.org.uk
    kashf.co.uk

    installing yoast actually fixed this
