• Hello there,

I’ve been trying a few methods but I don’t seem to find a way for my theme to work as I wish. I have three problems of responsiveness:

    1) The first problem occurs on screens above 1070px width circa, when the main menu goes into two lines. Unfortunately my menu is made of long words which I can’t make shorter, but I’d like the menu to stay in one line. What would you suggest me to do?

    2) and 3) The second and third problem appear on screens above 600px width, when the title of the website (https://www.neotropicalfungi.com), instead of resizing and becoming smaller, goes into two lines (which I’d like to avoid). Moreover, title and description do “flip” on top of the header image, instead of overlapping it as they do on bigger screens.

Could anyone please help? I’d appreciate it very much!

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers

    Enrico

  • 1. Make font size font menu items MUCH smaller.

    2. Site title width is set to 52% – change to 100%

    Hello there,

thanks for your help but I still didn’t manage to reach the result I’d like to. I managed to get over some issues, but others are still there, and I don’t find a way to solve them.
Let me start saying that I had given a specific font-size to Title and description of the site, and once I tried to do the same in the media queries area (in order to make them smaller), my method didn’t work if not partially. Now, above 900px of width, the menu becomes compact as it should, but title and description remain too big. I had added a specific size and it worked, but then, once I tried to do the same for the media queries of the other break-point (600px), it just didn’t work anymore. I am surely making some mistakes, somewhere… Do you have time to help me more specifically? Once the browser’s width goes above 750px circa, the title is too big and goes under the main menu until I reach 600px, point from which I’d like it to become smaller and keep overlapping the header image (as it does on big screens), but it flips on top of everything and maintains the big font-size I set for big screens. Now I have removed all the sizes I had set besides the main ones and I hope you can have a look and suggest me what to do; I’d highly appreciate it! Sorry for the long explanation but I didn’t manage to clarify better; I hope it is still comprehensible…..

    Thanks again

    Ciao
