    Hello!

When i visit my Website/Blog, that i started yesterday, i see that the Site title/description (I don’t know the proper word for it) shows up as the URL of my site. See it for yourself: https://www.thefragrancefanatics.com/

How do i change this? Because what I want is to have ”The Fragrance Fanatics – We Review Fragrances” as my “Site Title/Description”.

I also have another problem. I can’t seem to find my website anywhere in Google results.. All i see is sites that has similar names as mine.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

  • If you install an SEO plugin such as SEO WordPress it will allow you to create a page title and meta description for each page (you will find these input areas below the text window on your pages/posts if you install SEO WordPress). The site title you input and save will appear on your browser tab, and also in your search engine results.

Regarding your position in search engines such as Google, this search query shows that your homepage is indexed in Google: site:thefragrancefanatics.com

To improve your ranking and number of site pages indexed, you can:

    1. use the WordPress SEO feedback for each page as a guide to optimise them wherever possible
    2. activate the plugin sitemap
3.check you site performance and improve it if possible
4.consider creating a blog so that you have regular new site content
    5. try to get genuine backlinks to your site from other pages with high page rank.

The SEO game is one all your competitors are also trying to win, so it takes a little effort and patience. Here’s a useful article:
