Site tagline is permanent somehow

  • I added a test site tagline in the beginning and removed it later. Though it doesn’t show up on my sites homepage it is still showing up on google searches. How do I get rid of it? Even when I am putting a new tagline it still shows the first tagline I put, which is really unflattering.

  • If your test tagline is showing in Google indexed results, you will need to wait for Google bots to come around again and update the results when they see the page has been updated. Unfortunately, there won’t be any instant solution to this one, except wait.
