Site stats lost with disconnect

With Jetpack, your stats information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats were lost.

That’s what happened on your site; it previously used a different site URL, https://www.scratchpad.ca/code/sgp/.

I have fixed the issue, and you should be able to get your Stats and Subscribers back by going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnecting / reconnecting to WordPress.com.

Thanks Jeremy. I’ve done the disconnect and reconnect and I’m still only seeing stats back to August 3. Is there something I need to change in my site’s DB?

I can see a reference to the old URL in the stats_cache option in the options table. Will stats_cache be recreated with a disconnect/reconnect (i.e. can I delete that and have it recreated, or do I need to change the reference to point to the current site URL?)

Could you try to disconnect your site from WordPress.com once again, and let me know once it’s done, before to reconnect? I’d like to change something in your Jetpack settings once again to be able to solve the problem, but I would need your site to be disconnected first.

I reconnected and now we have all the pre August 3 stats back, but nothing after. Is it one or the other, or is there a way to combine them?

I’ve merged these stats as well. You should be all set!
