I saw a post about adding site statistics but when I followed the thread it linked back to wordpress.com and an API key. I am not aware of having an API key and I am using www.remarpro.com. How do I set up site statistics? I searched a bit and didn’t seem to find a definitive answer but will look further since I’m sure this is a hot topic. Thanks.

It directed me towards my wordpress.com blog but I have site stats set up on that account. I am looking to add stats to my www.remarpro.com account. If I enter an API key from my wordpress.com site, will it look up site stats for the right account? Thanks.

I think I understand but do I want my www.remarpro.com (new) site linked to my wordpress.com blog which is what it is asking me to DO to enable site statistics plug in (on www.remarpro.com site)? Help!

Okay, it seems to have worked even tho’ I’m not sure I understand the linking of the www.remarpro.com site with a wordpress.com account. Nonetheless, it is monitoring my stats. That’s a good thing!

    Hey Cathryn

Wondering how you got stats to work for www.remarpro.com site?

    Trying to do that myself.

    Thanks

Hi Mike, I got the code in but the stats aren’t working. I saw on one of the other threads that the person who developed the stats thinks there could be several reasons for this happening (stats not working) – says this is the “minority” of people (however there seem to be A LOT of people writing in with the problem!).

When I wrote the above, I was just trying to get API key uploaded … did that, stats don’t work.

I’ve been using Google Analytics but don’t find it as good as the stats I’m used to on WordPress.com.

I heard that Get Clicky is good.

    Good luck!

    Cathryn.

Just search the wordpress database. There are a lot of plugins for checking blog stats.

Google Analytics is pretty amazing. The problem is that it’s so fully featured that most people are only scratching the surface.
