site started running extremely slow.

  • hello everyone a few months ago i noticed that my site https://www.martinezmarineinteriors.com that i run for a friend of mine started running extremely, ridiculously slow. load times can take up to 2 minutes. no changes had been made to this site for months so i was baffled at what could be causing this.

    it might also be important to mention that my wp-admin page and all of the dashboard pages work perfectly as one would expect (1-2 second load times).

    i called up my hosting provider and they told me that my wordpress was out of date so i updated my WP and database however this problem still persists.

    i am at a complete loss as to why this is taking so long to load.

    does anyone have any ideas.
