I’m having some issues with the speed of my site. I’ve been doing some independent research and trying all of the basic things. We use a lot of images but have downsized them considerably. I have W3 Total Cache enabled.

Nothing seems to help the initial download of the site. It seems to be very slow loading. I’ve run the google page speed analysis and it is giving me suggestions of things I need to fix, but I’m not skilled enough to understand nor execute them.

Anyone have any suggestions or see a problem with the site?

I’m using SiteGround for a host which does’t seem to be an issue as Google said the server responded quickly.

    Thanks!

Your score is not bad and it’s pretty fast loading on my browser. I don’t think you should worry about the score. If you want to improve your score, there are a few things you can do easily.
    – Remove twitter, instagram and facebook plugins / widgets. These embed and social scripts cost you site speed.
    – Enable W3 Total Cache Minify setting for CSS, HTML, javascript.
    Hope that helps

Thanks Han, I am running most of the tools you have suggested along with a few others. My site speed had definitely improved since I opened this thread. I am very satisfied with it right now.

Thanks for your work on this theme!
