Site search removes gap when there is no breadcrumb

Hi,
A site search which is made from our landing page, causes the removal of the gap in the first results page. We think it’s most probably due to the lack of breadcrumb in the first page and again we believe it should not be like that in the default theme. Should we fix this easily (from admin panel) or is there gonna be a coming update about this?
