Site permalink shows extra numbers and symbols in the end?

I am currently building a website with the WPFolio Child Theme. I’ve noticed that my site url shows up with strange numbers, letters and symbols at this end like so:

How can I get rid of this? I initially went to my permalink settings and chose the ‘post name’ option, which seemed pretty straight forward but the tag like codes continue to show up. I have read various forums on wordpress but cant seem to find a solution, I appreciate any help, thanks!
