    Hi!

Having a problem getting my WordPress to use a different site address than where the files are located on my server.

My wordpress files are located on a subdirectory (https://newsite.contractsupply.ca) – I’ve changed the general settings in WordPress to make the site address different (www.contractsupply.ca) & followed in the instructions on “Giving WordPress It’s Own Directory” but the site isn’t working.

I’m getting a bunch of Warning: include/failed to open stream errors. You can see them here (https://www.contractsupply.ca)

I have a feeling there is a relatively simple solution to this, but can’t figure it out. When you go to the new site address, it’s pulling the data from the sub-directory as it’s supposed to, but there’s obviously an error going on here…

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated!

    Hi esmi,

I have reviewed the document (and a couple other related docs) and my problem is that I can’t seem to pinpoint the exact problem that’s effecting the site…

Your site appears to be working fine now…

    ***UPDATE ***

OK, I tried switching from the current theme to the default WP theme, and it’s now working…. so there’s something going on with my theme… Does anybody know where/how I’d be able to find where the broken reference(s) are?
