• Hi,

My client’s site was automatically updated to WP 5.5 and wasn’t working. I installed Jquery Migrate Helper Plugin to figure out the plugins that needed updation and have updated all of the plugins to the latest version. I had purchased the theme else and have updated that as well.

The site works with the Jquery Migrate plugin, but when I deactivate it, it doesn’t work.
The error that I get when I disable the plugin is this:

custom.js:28 Uncaught TypeError: $(…).live is not a function
    at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (custom.js:28)
    at i (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
    at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
    at Function.ready (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
    at HTMLDocument.J (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)

    i @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2
    fireWith @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2
    ready @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2
    J @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2″

What could be wrong and what should I do? I have updated all the plugins and the theme to the latest version.
