• Hi All,
I don’t know if this is the place to turn to… if itsn’t just turn me away…

I have been working off one Phu Ly’s themes for WordPress – Gentle Calm – https://www.ifelse.co.uk
My blog is at – https://www.iblog2.info (i know, i know, i’m cheap with DOT-info domain)

My problems are the following:

1. When I use any of my browsers as smaller windows the picture goes on top of the menu and the main column becomes smaller (is this what is called variable width?) … how do I make that stop?

2. On Firefox, my page looks the way I want it to… but on IE or MSN IE it looks different: (a) it displays a thicker bar underneath the header; (b) it gives me a black border around my picture although the colour chosen is not black – the picture is in a post and I have placed it at the top of the page with the Adhesive PlugIn by Owen Winkler – the code I use inside the post is the following – ‘<img src=”https://iamcolucci[.]com/iblog22/public/golden.jpg” alt=”Blog’s New Start” border= 3px solid #F3F1F1>’

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks…
