• Hi, my wp site is not properly updating changes. I changed the settings on one of my widgets to display 4 posts instead of 5, and added re-added a login widget that I’d been using for a while but stopped for a few days.

I run twenty-eleven, with buddypress and bb press. I am running wp super cache, I tried disabling and re-enabling. The odd thing is that once I login, under my administrator name or under my general user name, it updates the changes properly. Of course, the login thing is mostly for people not logged-in though, so I need it to show up correctly regardless of login status.

I already cleared my browsers so it isn’t anything saved in history I don’t think.

My site is https://www.popzilla.net if that helps.

Let me know if anyone has any thoughts.

  • If you are running default setup for WP Super Cache:

    A) Don’t…your host can likely help as to why not, if not, get a better one.
    B) In better setup, cache ‘may’ be cleared on new Post, but is NOT on new edit to site (such as stylesheet, js, Templates, php files) and can and will behave badly when those who use it do not do so right.
    C) Clear cache on site updates….
