Site not running after update

According to the update page version 3.2 is available but at the repository page the version is 3.1. When I updated from the site, the version seems incomplete. I did a manual update and hope that works with 3.1. Also it is unusual that on the advanced page that no recent previous versions of the plugin are available.
Update, 3.3.1 is not installing. After manually updating to the most recent version available it says on the update page: “You have version 3.2 installed. Update to 3.3.1. View version 3.3.1 details.”
