Site not reachable

  • Hi there everyone,

    I’ve been experiencing numerous “site not reachable” upon trying to change various things on my site.

    First I thought it was a problem with the plugin WPPA+ (a photo gallery plugin) that I had just installed. It worked fine in the beginning, but for the last two days or so, I started to get said message, when I wanted to delete an album. Then there was another problem, when I tried to move an album.
    Until this point I thought it was an issue with the plugin.

    Just now however, I tried to create a new user profile and got the same message. Therefore, I believe it’s not actually the plugin, but WP itself.

    Anyone out there who has similar issues or knows how to fix it?

  • WordPress would NOT be the problem. It’s just software. Have you contacted your hosting company? They are the best ones to address site availability issues.

    Thanks, I just did and it seems to be a problem with the browser, Chrome. I switched to Firefox and everything works fine. I’ll uninstall and reinstall Chrome now, to see if I can get it back running on Chrome too. Clearing the Cache did not work.

    Any other suggestions what might be wrong in Chrome?
