• I’ve checked the forums for a similar problem but haven’t seen anything that seems to fit.

As of perhaps a week and a half ago, my site seems to have stopped “pulling” the associated Gravatar image for myself (admin) and all other users. I have not added any new plugins during this time though there have been updates to several. However, none updated have anything directly to do with user profiles. The only user plugin installed is Capability Manager. Also, the Gravatars are working in comments but not showing up on the back-end User list/settings, nor in the author locations.

I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar problem or might be able to guide me in discovering or fixing the issue. Thanks!

Just a bump to see if anyone has a response. Still no gravatars for my users ??

I have the same problem The only wp site that shows the avatars everywhere as it used to be is one, combined with a buddypress and using it’s features. But even that wpms shows them on the main site, but the rest of wp sites have no avatars in admin area, or areas not covered with BP.
New WP (single) shows only gravatars in comments. And gravatar.com does not accept some email addresses like @mail.ru – the main email of that site admin ??
What a pain in the… you know where!

Hmm. That’s disappointing. My only site ‘users’ are authors and contributors and I pull their bio and their user image for use in posts and an author page.

Perhaps what I need is a way to get around gravatar and pull an uploaded image for this purpose. Unfortunately, I’m not a coder so I don’t know if I’m going to figure it out on my own. Would still appreciate any advice from those who can help. Thank you!
