Site no longer loads properly after URL switchover

I’m not sure how you migrated the site however all of the content links to raindancefilmschool.org. If you can install plugins, use Better Search Replace and replace all instances of the old domain with the new domain. If you are not able to install plugins, then export the database and update the export file with the same change.

Ah yes I updated the wp-config file as the usually backend settings bit was greyed out, I suppose that ignores image URLs?

WordPress is a database driven system. All content is stored in the database and that includes image URLs. Anytime you migrate a site to a new domain you need to ensure the database is updated as well.

Ah of course, I’ve used Better Search Replace which seems to have helped a lot however it’s now taking a while to load/timing out sometimes, could something else have gone wrong in the process?

Hmmm, I don’t see any obvious problems. The site consistently loads fine. No timeouts. I did run it through Google PageSpeed Insights and you do have some performance improvement opportunities – https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

The other issue was missing a www. DNS setting which I have now solved.
