Site moved but homepage is down

Hello,
So I just recently moved my hosting from a shared host to a VPS. Not like that matters I just feel good about it.
But I’m having a issue that hosting support cant help with….why because they stink at figuring this kind of stuff out. So I’m going to ask my friends in the WordPress community.

Well this is what is what i did

1. downloaded database from old host
2. uploaded to new host
3. downloaded the Folders via FTP
4. Uploaded them to the VPS
5. uploaded databases and made the adjustments to config.php
6. within the database changed wp_options to reflect new site

And when the smoke of battle cleared I could see every page BUT the home page!
