    Hi –

Having a very odd problem hoping someone can assist, feeling like I’ve missed a step. I have migrated a wordpress site from one hosting account to the other, the domain did not change. The site was too big for me to use a plugin like duplicator so had to do everything manually.

1 – I copied the folders from old host to new host via ftp
2 – I exported the database via my cpanel via phpmyadmin
3 – on the new hosting side, I created a new database and then used the import tool in phpmyadmin to import the old database. It worked. In opening up the tables I can see the actual data there. For example I open up the wp_posts table and it shows all my posts.
4 – I edit the wpconfig file to point to the new database.

But when I visit the site, instead of just showing it, it’s popping up like a fresh wordpress install. I feel like I’m missing a step, and I can’t for the life of me figure out what I’m doing wrong. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
